For the occasion, Clinton wore an off-white, long-sleeve jacket made of the textual fabric. The tweed jacket featured two large pockets and fringe detailing on the hemline, cuffs and front placket of the piece.

Clinton paired the jacket with tailored trousers in a crisper shade of white, pointed-toe nude heels and delicate pieces of jewelry including a gold bracelet and statement earrings.

During her appearance onstage at the DNC, Clinton made a speech on Vice President Kamala Harris’ candidacy for president of the U.S. Following the 2016 election, Clinton said, “We refused to give up on America. Millions marched, many ran for office. We kept our eyes on the future. Well, my friends, the future is here.”

Clinton earned the Democratic party’s presidential nomination during the 2016 election cycle. While Clinton won the popular vote against Donald Trump, she lost the Electoral College 227 to 304.

During her time speaking with Colbert, Clinton remarked how “good” it felt to be back on the DNC stage, saying, “the atmosphere was incredible.”

The 2024 Democratic National Convention is taking place in Chicago and concludes on Thursday. Delegates from all 50 states and U.S. territories are gathering to formally nominate Harris as the Democratic candidate for president and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as the candidate for the office of vice president.
