FALL OUTDOORS: Mads Mikkelsen is returning to a Zegna ad campaign for the second time, again wandering through the idyllic outdoors of the Italian Alps.
The Danish actor, a Zegna global brand ambassador, fronts the fall 2024 imagery shot at Oasi Zegna alongside Wu Lei, also a global ambassador since 2022, and is seen exploring the area, trekking in the woods against an autumnal landscape filled with foliage.
Oasi Zegna is the luxury menswear brand’s headquarters in Trivero, a 90-minute drive from Milan. A territory spanning more than 62 miles designed and created by the company’s founder Ermenegildo Zegna in the mountains of Northern Italy, Piedmont, it is crossed by the 232 Road.
The candid pictures spotlight Zegna’s Oasi Cashmere fall 2024 collection with which artistic director Alessandro Sartori paid his homage to the precious yarn and the company’s expertise in spinning and weaving the fabric.

All items in the collection — including Mikkelsen’s “Il Conte” cashmere blazer, one of the lineup’s hero pieces standing out for its leisurely feel — bear a subtle graphic mark referencing the 232 Road.
Named to the brand ambassador role in 2023, Mikkelsen has been a longtime friend of Zegna, having attended his first show of the brand in 2017, held beneath Anselm Kiefer’s towering installation, The Seven Heavenly Palaces, at Milan’s Hangar Bicocca. He fronted his first Zegna campaign for spring 2024 and after its release he closed the Zegna spring 2025 show held in Milan last June.
The Danish actor’s profile grew internationally in the mid-2000s after playing the main antagonist role in the 21st James Bond movie, “Casino Royale.” He is poised to lend his voice to Kiros, a lion among the characters of “Mufasa: The Lion King,” an upcoming Walt Disney Pictures and Pastel Productions’ musical drama directed by Barry Jenkins.
