Mary J. Blige made a striking appearance on Nov. 12 at the Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet x The Beatles Capsule Collection celebration in New York City. The event honored the 60th anniversary of the Beatles’ first U.S. tour in 1964 through a 17-piece collection showcasing artwork from the band’s career.
Blige arrived in a monochromatic red ensemble. Her outfit featured a long tailored coat layered over a coordinating top and wide-leg trousers in the same fiery hue. She completed her look with pointed-toe black pumps and accessorized with layered silver necklaces, oversized hoop earrings and a bold red manicure, complementing her statement copper-toned hair.
The Grammy-winning singer and actress posed with Stacey Bendet, Alice + Olivia’s creative director. Bendet wore pieces from the collection, showcasing the capsule’s vibrant aesthetic. Her look included a shimmering yellow tank emblazoned with “The Beatles” logo and a sequin-covered maxi skirt with “All You Need Is Love” spelled out in colorful embellishments. Bendet completed her ensemble with a black leather jacket adorned with patches referencing the iconic band.
Blige’s recent foray into design further cements her influence in fashion. Earlier this year, she collaborated with Giuseppe Zanotti for a limited-edition “Giuseppe for Mary J. Blige” thigh-high boot. The slouchy, rose gold mirrored footwear, set on a block heel, was inspired by the styles Blige often wears onstage and debuted during her 2024 Strength of a Woman festival and summit.
The celebration drew a star-studded crowd, including Coco Rocha and Nicky Hilton Rothschild, as attendees gathered to toast the enduring legacy of the Beatles through the Alice + Olivia collection.
