British actress and model Amy Jackson married “Gossip Girl” alum Ed Westwick in Castello di Rocca Cilento off the Amalfi coast in Italy on Saturday. For the special occasion, Jackson opted to wear two designer dresses — one selection for the wedding ceremony, the second for the reception.
For the ceremony, which featured a bevy of florals surrounding the couple, Jackson wore a custom wedding gown designed by Alberta Ferretti. The bespoke piece featured a strapless silk Mikado gown with a bustier and petal-cups along with a voluminous skirt with ruffles that cascaded into a long train. The ceremonial look was completed with a dramatic veil that was nearly 20 feet in length, made of lightweight tulle and adorned with a floral rebrodè lace border.
Ferretti’s designs have recently been worn by American Ferrera at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards last January and Kerry Washington at the Tribeca Film Festival last June.
For the wedding reception, Jackson wore a second dress courtesy of Barcelona-based Atelier Pronovias. The dress featured a sinuous silhouette with flowing details, featured prominently on the delicate sleeves and the train of the dress. The aforementioned elements were crafted with the use of silk chiffon. Her corset and gloves were completely hand-embroidered, featuring small bicolored crystals with a chevron design.
In total, the Atelier Pronovias dress required 32 hours for pattern making, 28 hours for embroidery and 45 hours for construction.
Jackson’s interest in Atelier Pronovias was previously established last spring. The model and actress attended the latest fashion show for Atelier Pronovias in Barcelona during Bridal Fashion Week in April. The collection showcased modern designs with Hollywood flare, much like the dress Jackson wore to her reception with Westwick.
Jackson and Westwick began dating in 2022. The couple got engaged last January. Jackson has a son, born in 2019, from a previous relationship with British businessman George Panayiotou.
