Camila Cabello revealed a new look on Friday in Las Vegas when she stepped on the red carpet for the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival. One of the night’s performers, Cabello took the opportunity to debut a shorter hairstyle — the Birkin bob.
On the red carpet for the event, the former Fifth Harmony member wore an ombre full-length dress from Grace Ling‘s spring 2025 collection. The delicate, bodycon design features a cap sleeve, and high neck. With a black center, the multi-tone fabric shifts from solid to translucent, becoming completely sheer around her thighs and shoulders. The look makes Cabello the latest of red carpet starlets hopping on the sheer trend.
Styled by Katie Qian, she matched the dress with pointed-toe stilettos. Qian also works with other musicians like Tyla and Conan Gray.
Her hair stylist, Dimitris Giannetos, dubbed her new hairstyle the “Birkin bob cut.” Giannetos also counts Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Alessandra Ambrosio as clients.
Her look took on a harder edge during the performance. The singer wore a black leather jacket featuring straps and small buckles on the front, similar to a straight jacket. The jacket was a custom motorcycle style from LVDF. She paired it with a leather mini skirt featuring metallic detailing, a belt, chains and fringe. The skirt, as well as the blue strappy bodysuit, was designed Kate Broadrick.
On footwear, she stepped into a pair of knee-high leather and long-hair fur boots. The boots were also custom from Broadrick.
Cabello kept the same makeup, which included spiked corner lashes by makeup artist Ash K. Holm.
The iHeartMusic Festival, presented by Capital One, is a two-day event with performances by Big Sean, Gwen Stefani, Halsey, Camila Cabello and more. The occasion is hosted by Ryan Seacrest. It will be available to stream via Hulu on Oct. 7.
