Ciara embraced one of fall’s hottest prints at Willy Chavarria‘s spring 2025 show during New York Fashion Week on Friday.
The singer sported a head-to-toe plaid ensemble from the label’s fall 2024 collection, selecting an oversized peak lapel coat, high-neck blouse and baggy trousers. Ciara accessorized with gold jewelry, including two large cross pendants, as well as a pair of white boots.
Ciara was hardly the only star in attendance at Chavarria’s latest presentation: other notable names in the front row included Lourdes Leon, fashion designer Michael Kors and Tracee Ellis Ross.
The “Goodies” songstress is teaming up with Bebe for the fall 2024 season, collaborating with the clothing brand on a capsule collection. She’ll also serve as the face of the campaign.
“Growing up, the Bebe brand was iconic,” she told WWD in January. “My vision as creative director is to mix my own personal style elements of girl-next-door with tomboy, glam and edge with a nod to the ’90s. I want this collection to allow women to style it their way and feel confident on their terms.”
Last month, Ciara dropped her new single, “Run It Up,” which she performed during Missy Elliott’s “Out of This World” tour. The legendary rapper was joined by Ciara and Busta Rhymes on her latest jaunt, which traveled across the U.S. and Canada.
New York Fashion Week 2024 begins Sept. 6 and concludes on Sept. 11. Designers such as Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch and Proenza Schouler will showcase their latest collections on the runway, while stars including Paris Hilton, Ciara and Ella Emhoff made front row appearances. Special events such as the Prada Beauty Paradoxe Virtual Flower Lab and the Giorgio Armani & Kith Pop-Up on the Upper East Side are open to the public.
