Emma Corrin joined Paul Mescal, Gemma Chan and other Cartier ambassadors at a special dinner hosted by the jewelry brand on Thursday to celebrate its new exhibition at the V&A South Kensington museum in London. For the soiree, Corrin went avant-garde.

The actor wore a dramatic black strapless gown from Steve O. Smith‘s fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The dress featured semi-sheer panels with strategic black fabric placement, multiple layers of black and sheer tulle creating a flowing, dramatic silhouette and a mermaid-style skirt that flared out toward the bottom. Corrin completed the look with black shoes and a Cartier necklace.

Corrin was styled by Harry Lambert, who has also worked with Bill Skarsgard and Dan Levy and is particularly famous for styling Harry Styles. On Wednesday, Lambert dressed Corrin in a Moschino look for the “Black Mirror” Season Seven screening in London. In 2024, he also styled Corrin in outfits by Miu Miu, Alexander McQueen and Saint Laurent.
At the event, Corrin posed for pictures with Paul Mescal, who wore a classic black tuxedo for the occasion.

The Cartier exhibition at London’s V&A South Kensington officially opens on Saturday and will stay open until Nov. 16. The exhibition is a landmark retrospective celebrating the French maison’s legacy as “the jeweller of kings and king of jewellers,” according to the brand. Curated by Helen Molesworth and Rachel Garrahan, the show will feature 350+ objects, including rare jewels from King Charles III’s Royal Collection, Grace Kelly’s engagement ring, and Queen Elizabeth II’s Williamson Diamond brooch.
