There are lots of seasons in a year — and I’m not talking winter, spring, summer and fall.
There’s football season, ski season, truffle season, open season.
I’ve never understood polar plunge season, I hate English-peas-in-entrées season and I’m not a fan of any elapsed period of time where I have to engage in sports betting pools.
On the flip side, however, I love food truck season (perhaps even more than bonfire season, Wildwood season and the part of the year when the radiator’s constantly blowing over my feet).
And, luckily for us residents of New Jersey, that annual stretch is hot on the horizon; with many local grub-mobiles preparing to dust off their counters and yank the tarps from their roofs.
