Jessica Chastain repped Team USA on Saturday evening during An Evening at Ralph’s in Paris. Ralph Lauren‘s soirée celebrated the 2024 Paris Olympics, which officially kicked off on Friday.
Chastain wore a full Ralph Lauren ensemble consisting of a red banded maxidress featuring a plunging neckline, as well as a patriotic satin bomber jacket emblazoned with an American flag patch. The actress also added on layered silver necklaces.
Stylist Elizabeth Stewart, who counts fellow A-listers Cate Blanchett and Julia Roberts as clients, dressed Chastain for the occasion.
Hairdresser Christian Wood styled the “Mothers’ Instinct” star’s red tresses in waves, while makeup artist Mary Greenwell gave her smoked-out eyeliner and coral blush.
Other stars in attendance at Ralph Lauren’s bash included Nina Dobrev, Spike Lee and the First Lady of the United States, Dr. Jill Biden.
2024 marks the ninth year that Lauren has designed Team USA’s uniforms for the opening and closing ceremonies at the Olympics.
“When they tell you their stories, you’re front row before some of the greatest heroes. They have been up against the odds. They have persevered and pushed themselves,” David Lauren, the designer’s son, told WWD of meeting U.S. Olympians ahead of the Games.
The 2024 Paris Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad, will take place through Aug. 11. This year’s Games mark the centenary of the last time Paris hosted the Olympics in 1924.
