Kenvue Appoints New President of Skin Health and Beauty, Asia-Pacific and Latin America

Kenvue Inc. has named a new president of skin health and beauty for its Asia-Pacific and Latin America regions.

Penelope Giraud, formerly general manager of CeraVe at L’Oréal, will take up the role, effective immediately.

“We are very pleased to have Penelope join Kenvue in this critical role,” said Charmaine England, chief growth officer at Kenvue, which counts Neutrogena, Aveeno and Clean & Clear among its personal care brands.

“She is a seasoned beauty industry professional with deep expertise and an exceptional track record in growing culturally relevant global brands loved by consumers and dermatologists…we are confident that her leadership will strengthen the growth trajectory of our iconic skin care and beauty brands in these key markets.”

Previously, Giraud spent 24 years at L’Oréal, with stints at brands including Garnier and La Roche Posay before joining CeraVe in 2017. Since then, CeraVe has grown to be the number-two skin care brand in the mass market, per Circana, and the number-four beauty business overall.

“I am delighted to join Kenvue and have the opportunity to work on this portfolio of iconic brands,” said Giraud. “I am excited to get started with the teams on building an impactful strategy to enhance the brands’ footprint and progress growth, while delivering brilliant consumer experiences.”

In November, Kenvue appointed former longtime Coty executive Andrew Stanleick president of skin health and beauty in North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
