Kerry Washington Suits Up in Organza Akris Look, Ariana Madix Embraces Tie Dye in Showpo and More From the L.A. Times Festival of Books

The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books featured a bevy of stars, all on-hand to celebrate books and writing. Kerry Washington and Ariana Madix were just two of the many celebrities who attended and spoke at the event on Saturday and Sunday. Each attendee fashioned looks ideal for the daytime event at the University of Southern California.

Kerry Washington

Washington attended wearing a unique suit. The “Scandal” star fashioned a silk organza jacket and matching pants with a medium denim silk grid knit top from the Akris spring 2024 collection. The look made its runway debut during Paris Fashion Week in October 2024.

Ariana Madix

For her look during the daytime event, Madix fashioned a two-piece set from Showpo in blue tie dye, featuring a high-neck top and coordinating midi skirt. She finished the look with a pair of sandal heels.

Tiffany Haddish

Tiffany Haddish wholly embraced stripes with her look for the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. She wore a matching set featuring orange, black and white stripes courtesy of Tanya Taylor’s pre-fall 2024 collection. The look featured a striped vest top and wide-leg pants.

Sophia Bush

Sophia Bush made the case for subdued spring colors with a mustard yellow blazer. She wore the piece along with a pair of trousers and a pinstripe shirt.

The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books is a free, public festival that celebrates writing. It is the largest book festival in the U.S., drawing roughly 150,000 attendees each year.
