LeBron James Does Taut Tailoring in Louis Vuitton for Hennessy Collaboration Launch and Wife Savannah Favors Oversize Phoebe Philo Suit

LeBron and his wife Savannah James radiated sartorial elegance on Thursday to celebrate the basketball star’s limited-edition Hennessy bottle at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The couple coordinated in striking suits at the event, sipping on the all-star athlete’s signature cocktail, which includes lime juice, orange liqueur, orange juice and agave syrup. And, of course, Hennessy straight from his signature bottle, which will be available to purchase globally on Sept. 30.

“As an admirer of Hennessy and its iconic brand, I’ve always appreciated its commitment to basketball and how it celebrates the sport’s influence on and off the court,” James said in a statement.

LeBron wore a black Louis Vuitton suit from the fashion house’s spring 2025 show, bare-chested underneath. He accessorized his look with a pair of sunglasses and ropes of diamond necklaces. Hennessy’s parent company is LVMH Group, which includes wine and spirits brands such as Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, and fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior and more.

Savannah was striking in a brown Phoebe Philo double breasted blazer and tailored trousers, layered over a brown shirt. She paired heels from The Attico and a Bottega Veneta bag with her look.

The event marked the first collaboration between cognac brand Hennessey and the LA Lakers star.

The cognac and its packaging features a sunset-hued portrait of James. The brand’s logo, an arm wielding an ax, was reimagined wearing a sleeve in a nod to James, and incorporates the baller’s signature crown emblem.

“I was fortunate enough to visit the Maison in Cognac a while back, and seeing the care and craftsmanship that go into creating each bottle was pretty incredible,” James continued, adding, “This collaboration represents a shared sense of dedication and discovery coming to life for everyone to enjoy.”

“LeBron is not just a basketball star, but someone who redefines boundaries in sport, style, culture and beyond. This partnership is more than just a collaboration, it’s a statement about what’s possible when two cultural icons come together,” said Antoine Varlet, Hennessy U.S.’s senior vice president.
