Mary J. Blige was spotted in New York City on Monday promoting her new album “Gratitude,” which was released on Nov. 15. While doing so, the singer showcased her winter wardrobe, pairing statement outerwear with her designer pieces.
Blige wore a camel-toned sherpa coat with shearling lining the collar, sleeves and pockets. The oversized silhouette featured patchwork detailing, adding structure and dimension to the cozy outerwear. Layered underneath, a monogrammed Moncler crop top peeked through, adding subtle contrast and texture.
She styled the look with beige trousers tucked into a pair of thigh-high brown leather boots featuring the signature Fendi monogram print. The shoes, with a pointed toe and sturdy block heel, highlighted Blige’s consistent preference for high-reaching footwear — a style that has become synonymous with her public appearances.
The singer accessorized with statement gold hoop earrings and layered gold chains, one of which featured a pendant. Her bold copper-orange hair cascaded in soft waves over her coat. She completed the look with a black structured Hermès croc Birkin.
Blige’s affinity for thigh-high boots continues to drive her fashion choices. Following the success of her first footwear collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti earlier this year, the duo launched a second iteration of The Mary Boot in November, this time in a white patent leather design. The collaboration further cements her influence in the footwear space, merging personal style with high-fashion partnerships.
