More melting Sunday afternoon

Temperatures dropped well below freezing on Sunday morning. This has caused everything that melted on Saturday to turn to ice. If you see spots that look wet on Sunday morning it is likely black ice. Be careful on roads, sidewalks, and parking lots until temperatures warm above freezing.

Temperatures will warm above freezing for all of us on Sunday afternoon. Mostly sunny skies will warm us into the low 40s! Clouds will increase in the evening ahead of a cold front.

The cold front will move through Sunday night/Monday morning. It won’t bring us and rain or snow, but it will cause Monday to be cold. Highs on Monday will only reach the low to mid 30s.

Another dry cold front will move through on Tuesday. This will make for bitter cold mornings on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Mornings will start off with temperatures in the single digits and teens and afternoon highs will struggle to get above freezing.

Our next storm will arrive late on Friday into Saturday. This one will bring rain.
