Nikkei: Fuso and Hino close to finalising merger

Toyota’s Hino Motors and Daimler Truck subsidiary Mitsubishi Fuso are nearing a finalised merger agreement, according to a Nikkei report from 22 April 2025. The deal will establish a holding company for the two truck units, with plans for a listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange’s Prime Market on or around April 2026.
