Pamela Anderson arrived to the Zurich Film Festival premiere of “The Last Showgirl” in a monochrome pink look on Friday. The actress was joined by the film’s director, Gia Coppola, and was honored with the Golden Eye Award for her decades-long career.
At the Zurich Film Festival premiere of the film, Anderson chose a dramatic blush pink ensemble with a voluminous shawl that nearly covered her coordinated midi dress.
Along with the blush pink dress and shawl, Anderson wore pointed-toe pumps in the same shade, complementing the monochrome ensemble.
Anderson is one of the latest stars to style the monochrome trend on the red carpet. Along with “The Last Showgirl” actress, stars like Naomi Campbell, Melissa McCarthy and Lupita Nyong’o have styled the trend in various color schemes from white hot looks to glittering black attire and even playful soft seafoam green.
Prior to the Zurich Film Festival premiere of “The Last Showgirl,” Anderson styled another pink look. For the premiere of the film during the San Sebastian Film Festival on Sept. 27, Anderson wore a pink caped gown courtesy of Elie Saab.
The actress has also worn styles by CH Carolina Herrera, suited attire and more during the press tour for “The Last Showgirl,” for which Anderson has received critical acclaim. “I’m so happy for Pamela, because I feel like she really deserves it,” director Gia Coppola told WWD last September.
“She’s such a wonderful, beautiful person inside and out. And, you know, I saw her documentary, and that really proved to me that she was the only person that could play this character.”
“The Last Showgirl” follows veteran dancer and entertainer Shelley, played by Anderson, whose life is turned upside down when the Las Vegas show she performs in abruptly shuts down after 30 years. The film recently sold to Roadside Attractions for North American distribution and hits theaters this fall.
