Princess Beatrice attended Wimbledon on Tuesday, fashioning a floral look with vibrant summertime hues. The British royal family member was joined by her husband of roughly four years, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, in the royal box on Centre Court.

For the Quarter-final match, Princess Beatrice fashioned a printed lace shirtdress in silk white with vibrant shades of yellow, blue, pink and more by Monique Lhuillier. The shirtdress featured buttons down the front placket, a defined collar and a sash at the waist.

Princess Beatrice carried a crochet clutch by Roger Vivier and opted to keep her accessories minimal, favoring her ornate dress as the centerpiece of her ensemble. The British royal is gravitating toward florals lately.

More recently, Princess Beatrice fashioned a printed midi dress in ecru/mauve chalk courtesy of French fashion retailer The Kooples, which featured understated florals in an intricate pattern, at an art exhibit on July 1.

Among members of the British royal family, Princess Beatrice has long embraced vibrant colors, patterns and whimsical designs. For the 2023 Wimbledon tournament, Princess Beatrice opted for a dress by Emilia Wickstead in a shade of playful pink.

Members of the British royal family have attended Wimbledon for years. In the 1980s and ’90s, the late Princess Diana often fashioned looks evocative of the summer season for the championships. In recent years, Kate Middleton has taken the mantel as the royal to watch at Wimbledon, fashioning pieces by Roland Mouret, Jenny Packham and more.

This year’s tournament features a bevy of high-profile stars and A-list attendees fashioning florals, including Hannah Waddingham in a selection from Elie Saab’s resort 2024 collection and Carole Middleton in a Cefinn floral maxidress. The array of floral fashion statements proves that, while the trend is a ubiquitous staple of the summertime season, the variations on how to style the trend are limitless.
