Queen Letizia opted for a vibrant, colorful display for her attire at a dinner for authorities at the Marivent Palace in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, on Monday. The Spanish royal hosted the event alongside her husband, King Felipe VI.
For the occasion, Queen Letizia wore a short-sleeve midi dress courtesy of Maksu. The ornately designed flowing dress featured an eclectic pattern of orange hues, creams, splashes of gold and more. The midi dress included a V-neckline and the short sleeves featured a loose, flowing fit.
The entire ensemble was an ideal look for the evening, elevating what could have been a very casual dress with certain touches and accessories — including a slightly defined waist to add shape to the flowing garment.
Along with the midi dress, Queen Letizia added a pair of low sandals in a smooth, braided gold design courtesy of Sezane. As for her jewelry pieces, Queen Letizia kept her selections fairly simple, opting to keep her dress the centerpiece of her look. The royal wore a pair of gold hoop earrings and a single ring on her index finger.
As far as her recent fashion choices have been concerned, Queen Letizia has worn several pieces that embrace modern silhouettes and embellishments far more than her classic and standard traditional attire.
Among her most notable recent selections, the Spanish royal wore a selection from the Christian Dior couture spring 2024 collection for Spain’s reception at the Spanish Embassy in Paris ahead of the 2024 Olympics. The sleeveless dress featured a bevy of intricate embellishments, most prominently the glittering fleur-de-lis on the bodice of the piece, designed with beading and embroidery.
Among other pieces Queen Letizia has styled that feature more modern, contemporary qualities, the Spanish royal wore a bespoke, asymmetrical midi dress by Mango in a neutral tone during an event with her family in Barcelona on July 9. While traditional silhouettes with elements of modernity have been a consistent element of Queen Letizia’s wardrobe, the Spanish royal continues to demonstrate her versatility when it comes to her fashion and style choices.
