Sharon Stone gave bold updates to traditional suiting this weekend during the 2024 Paris Olympics. The actress first attended the Olympic Gala of Champions on Saturday, followed by an appearance at the men’s singles tennis finals.
Stone’s first look, by Ermanno Scervino, comprised a beige double-breasted blazer and pleated wide-leg trousers accented with crystallized pinstripes. The actress completed her ensemble with cocktail rings and emerald studs.
Stone wore her cropped blond tresses in a slicked-back style, while her makeup included mauve blush and a matching satin lip.
On Sunday, the “Basic Instinct” star spectated a tennis match between Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic of Serbia. Stone selected a floral suit featuring a peak lapel blazer, which she paired with a matching tie-neck blouse. Her accessories included gold jewelry and a pair of lucite sunglasses.
Earlier this year, the actress discussed her artistic endeavors with WWD. Stone’s show at San Franciscos’s Gallery 181 displayed several of her paintings.
“I don’t need to wait until someone says, ‘Here’s a job.’ I can just get up, go to my studio and work every day, all the time. I have a very blue collar work ethic, I need to work,” she said.
Stone’s art is informed by the modernist movement and her show drew from the works of American painter Mark Rothko.
“I think about love, hate, loss, heartache, my childhood, all the ways people behave, the projections people put on me and the way people rush to war and don’t have any idea what they’re doing,” Stone said of her artistic approach.
