Ashley Buchanan, who currently leads crafts store owner The Michaels Companies, is set to replace current CEO Tom Kingsbury. Agilent Technologies — Shares slumped 1.%3 after the laboratory equipment company posting issued adjusted earnings guidance for the full year and current quarter that fell short of Wall Street’s estimates, per LSEG. Nevertheless, fiscal fourth-quarter results bested analysts’ forecasts on the top and bottom lines. Semtech — The semiconductor manufacturing name rallied more than 13% on better-than-expected quarterly results. Adjusted earnings came in 3 cents ahead of the 23 cents expected by analysts polled by LSEG. The company also issued strong fourth-quarter guidance. Woodward — Shares of the industrials and aerospace machinery maker surged more than 10% on stronger-than-expected fiscal fourth quarter results. Woodward said it hit record sales due to strong end-market demand. Fluence Energy — The energy storage stock rose nearly 1%. Fluence posted mixed fiscal fourth-quarter results. Fluence aid it expects revenues to range between $3.6 billion and $4.4 billion in the new year, versus a FactSet estimate of $3.95 billion.
