SXSW London will accept session proposal submissions starting Oct. 28 across the conference, music and screen and film segments.
Artist, performers, thought leaders, community representatives and industry professionals can submit ideas for the inaugural SXSW London via the submission portal. The event will run from June 2 to 7 in Shoreditch.
SXSW London aims to create an exclusive program with diverse voices and public involvement, organizers said. Submissions close Nov. 29 for the conference programming, and in January for the music and screen and film segments.
The event’s key themes are convergence and unexpected discovery, organizers said in a statement. Programming details will be unveiled in the coming months.
SXSW London has 23 tracks across four categories: technology, society, culture and creative and business. The conference program will include more than 40 sessions across four days, with keynotes, presentations, mentor hours, meet-ups and book readings. The event will also include a pitch competition for companies to showcase tech and business innovation.
“SXSW London provides a global platform for creative and innovative voices to showcase their unconventional and alluring talents. Convergence in tech and creativity is often where we see the most exciting discoveries emerge, and we can’t wait to see the submissions we’ll receive for this theme. Today marks an exciting step closer to our inaugural festival in Shoreditch in June 2025,” said Katy Arnander, director of programming for SXSW London.
SXSW is owned by Penske Media Corp., which is also the parent company of WWD. For multiple years, WWD has participated in SXSW in Austin with the Wear House, featuring a range of speakers across fashion, beauty and more.
