‘Today’ Show 2024 Cast Courts Millennial Nostalgia in Halloween Costumes From ‘Legally Blonde,’ ‘Titanic’ and More


The “Today” show hosts and correspondents looked to the silver screen for inspiration for their respective Halloween costumes on the Thursday episode of the daytime show in New York City.

Comedy classics, romantic comedies and Oscar-winning films were all featured with the inspired costumes the “Today” crew opted to wear for the live taping of Thursday’s episode. Ahead, see what Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and more wore to celebrate the holiday.

Savannah Guthrie turned to “Legally Blonde” for her Halloween inspiration on Thursday’s episode of “Today.” The host dressed up as Elle Woods, the iconic character played by Reese Witherspoon. She wore a bright pink suit with faux fur cuffs and collar, paring the suit with boots. She even wore a blond wig and carried a small dog to complete the ensemble.

Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager opted for a joint Halloween costume. The two recreated a memorable moment as Jack and Rose from the Oscar-winning movie “Titanic.” Kotb dressed up as Leonardo DiCaprio’s Jack and carried a whistle, while Bush Hager wore a long blue dress and donned a red wig to recreate Kate Winslet’s look from the film.

Sheinelle Jones and Carson Daly brought groovy energy to the “Today” show set. The duo recreated costumes from the film “Austin Powers in Goldmember.” Jones styled a shimmering gold ensemble, while Daly wore Austin Powers’ iconic red and blue striped suit.

Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer turned to Tim Burton for inspiration for their 2024 Halloween costume. The two recreated looks from the original film, with Roker dressed as Michael Keaton’s ghoulish specter and Dreyer in her Gothic best as a teenage Lydia Deetz, played by Winona Ryder.
