THAI TIES: Artist Jeff Satur, who attended Valentino’s first fashion show by creative director Alessandro Michele in Paris in September, has been appointed the house’s brand ambassador — the first hailing from Thailand.
“Fashion, for me, is about having fun and embracing the idea that beauty holds a deeper and more diverse meaning,” Satur said. “Being part of Maison Valentino and Alessandro Michele’s creations allows me to witness how such beauty is captured in every detail. I am truly honored to be part of this family and to embark on this journey,” as its brand ambassador.
Satur has established himself as an actor, singer-songwriter and producer in both music and film.
He gained widespread recognition in 2022 with his role in the BL drama series “KinnPorsche,” for which he also wrote and performed the song “Why Don’t You Stay.” That same year, he participated in the third season of “Call Me by Fire,” a Chinese singing reality show broadcast on Mango TV.
In early 2024, Jeff continued to expand his influence as a mentor for “Chuang Asia 2024,” a Chinese- Thai reality competition by Tencent TV. He also released his debut studio album, “Space Shuttle No. 8,” followed by tour throughout Asia with stops in Taipei, Hong Kong, Manila, Jakarta, Singapore and Bangkok.
In August 2024, Satur appeared in his first movie, “The Paradise of Thorns,” performing the song “Rain Wedding.”
Next year, he will produce “Happy Ending Series” with his agency Studio On Saturn, also contributing to the soundtrack.
Satur joins South Korean singer, actress and model Lim Yoona, who has recently been appointed brand ambassador for Valentino. Yoona rose to fame as a member of the K-pop girl group Girls’ Generation, which debuted in 2007.
